The motivation to write about Working from Home Ideas comes after almost 10 years of working from home experience. In that time I have implemented a whole range of working from home ideas.
- I’ve sold products and services ranging from “how-to”‘ information to nutritional and skin care products.
- I’ve traded options and invested in real estate.
- A couple of years ago I invented and designed my own product which I patented and obtained trademarks for.
- I then developed and marketed the product, which was picked up and sold in retail stores nationally.
- Following that I set up my own website and the product is now available online. Check it out if you wish here.
- Today I’m still actively involved in most of the above and I’m becoming more passionate about internet marketing.
In every venture I have gained knowledge and leaned valuable lessons and this is what I want to write about on this website.
The levels of success I’ve achieved in these ventures has usually been in relation to the amount of fun and interest I had doing them, and I think this is true for many people who work from home. Find something you enjoy doing. Find a way to turn your hobby or passion into your business. That’s what working from home is all about.
There have been many changes in how home businesses operate over the years. The biggest change by far is the huge part the internet now plays in the day to day running of a home business. I see this as a fantastic opportunity, across so many aspects of running a home business, and will be including internet marketing topics.
